Teach Boating School offers a Boating Safety Course that is approved by the State
of New Jersey. (State Certified Instructors by the NJ Department Dept. of Education)

The course is available throughout the State of New Jersey and will
give you the certification required by law in NJ to operate a power vessel in New
Jersey waters. Certification through this course may lead to discounts with some
insurance companies.

Private classes are available at your home or office if you prefer. The cost per
participant depends on the number attending. Practical classes are also available
on your own boat with one of our licensed captains.

The Safety Certificate is required for all power vessels, including personal
watercraft (wave runners, jet skiis, etc.) fishing boats, ski boats, party barges and
any other type of recreational boat that is powered by an engine. Click on the
